  • Perform a PACT analysis on CouchSurfing - how people use the technology assessing the activities they perform and contexts in which they use it.
    • This informs priorities for UI improvements
    • This also informs developers of urgent areas to improve
  • HCI guidelines on the wiki?

Motivation

From my profile.. Tim Berners-Lee, creator of "the World Wide Web", states that "[The Web] can help us work together more effectively, remove misunderstanding, and bring about peace and harmony on a global scale." I like to think that hospitality exchange websites are the best example of the web being used for its original intended purpose.

From my dissertation.. With the rise of the web as a serious tool for communication, there has been a demand for web applications with a greater degree of interactivity.
