"Traveling on trust from couch to couch" better link is here (more photos) http://jscms.jrn.columbia.edu/cns/2005-11-01/jamess-couchsurfing oddly, the news seems to be dated Nov 1, 2005 but the author seems the same one.

Style

As you can check... every country has it's own "style" I think we should decide an standard.

www.diepresse.at February 15th 2006 (German) ORF "Wien Heute" July 29th 2006 - 56MB (mostly German) libresechanges.humanite.fr 12 janvier 2006 etc. etc.

I guess the portuguese one is right now the best one, maybe with "in the article" other ideas?

Hmm, you're right. I'm not sure if the name of the source needs to be bold. And I think there's no need for a slanted in, or "in" at all. It's probably best to create a template, so that it will be very easy to change the style for the whole article by just changing one template. I'll try that now, starting with Portugal! :) GuakaTalkCS 00:50, 19 October 2006 (EDT)
I created Template:Media-report. And two Portugal items are now using it. Feel free to play with it if you want! :) GuakaTalkCS 00:56, 19 October 2006 (EDT)

Sorry, not used to this Template thing so my final suggestion would be. I'll try to do it now in the template.

AUTHOR, Name. "Title of the article about couchsurfing" slanted Media name (Date 27 April 2006) or number and page if necessari. --This date form as 03/02/06 might be confusing for non-US users-- --Danbcn 00:08, 20 October 2006 (EDT)

Also, for non-Firefox users... is it possible that links open in a new page? _blank or whatever system

not sure about copyright

I found this great video. It is in French and about couchsurfing of course. However I don't know if there are copyright issues and I was not able to contact the webmaster of the site who placed it there (I didn't try too much actually ;-) ... but I like a lot the video! Shall we add it? --Phauly 04:53, 22 November 2006 (EST)
