I think most of the basic living things we would need are already in Detmold ( it is a seminar centre , and everything is set to welcome people to live there ). But if we are more then 10 people , then I guess that we might need extra micro waves and things like that?

What concerns internet access , as I mentionned to Kasper , we might still need to bring some computers and extend the internet network.

Kasper said it should not be a problem.

Also , what concerns the internet connection there , although it is adsl , it performs only at 70kb/sec ,

I ll investigate for a faster connection when I ll be in Detmold in a week or two.

Any suggestions are welcomes ( satellite internet? )

I've only seen the satelite net issue emerging here, so I'm writing this here as a possibility for an offer in case needed. I don't know if there is a better place for this.

I used to work with some of the major internet satellite providers, thus I might be able to talk them into sponsoring bidirectional satelite internet access to a CS collective. The only thing is that it isn't that fast and is covered by fair access policies. Anyway, just keep that in mind. Charisis
