Places to visit
Midtown Sacramento is a neighborhood east of Downtown Sacramento bounded by W Street on the South, C Street on the North, 16th Street on the Western edge and 29th Street on the East. Largely residential community, tree-lined streets, old victorians. Notable as considered by some to be the center of Sacramento's art, music, and cultural scene containing boutiques, bars, clubs, upscale, and casual dining. Midtown is the location of the only winery located in the greater Sacramento urban area. Currently on the Second Saturday http://www.2nd-sat.com/ of each month there is an Art Walk which has attracted thousands of metropolitan residents. A large historic Asian community resides from S Street north to Broadway. Lavender Heights, Sacramento's gay and lesbian district, is centrally located on K Street and 20th Street. The community is diverse in terms of race and income.
