In no particular order, list of things most likely necessary

  • Travel insurance
  • Medications
    • Prescribed: Keep them in original wrappings and carry the prescription too (customs officials might not like unidentified pills on your package...)
    • depending on the destination
      • Anti-malaria pills
  • Vaccinations
    • ...
  • Online banking set-up
  • Credit card
  • International driving license
