Brescia (Brèssa in dialect), called "The italian Lioness", counts about 191.300 inhabitants. The city is situated at the Trompia Valley way out, at the feet of Maddalena Mount and Cidneo hill - the one where the Brescian Castle is located. For the most part it's a flat country, anyway the south Maddalena mountainside (include the peak) is comprised into the town territory, so Brescia has an altitude excursion of 770 meters.
