Here are some general tasks that anyone who is in contact with us can work on:
Writing News
- explore through groups on the site, find cool stuff that's going on, write news stories about them so we can tell the rest of our users, and use the "submit news" button.
Cleaning up website pages that are about to go live
The following pages are part of the new navigation system and are unfinished:
- Website help (will be visible at http://couchsurfing.com/help/Website_help) -- currently this is autogenerated by the wiki from all articles in the "tech support" category. We need to write something that highlights the most important of these articles and points new users to them.
- Hosting tips (will be visible at http://couchsurfing.com/help/Hosting_tips) -- same as above.
- How to surf (will be visible at http://couchsurfing.com/help/How_to_surf) -- same as above.
- Travel tips -- same as above
- Safety tips -- same as above
- History of CouchSurfing - just needs to be cleaned up
- An Ideal CouchSurfer - this will be on the Index page, hopefully, so make it good :)
Chores
- Answer emails from the Collective profile and the gmail address.
- Cut the lawn
- pick up the leaves
- Trash and recycling (if has car)
