World-Wide Opportunities on Organic Farms or WWOOF

WWOOFing is a different experience from CouchSurfing. You are expected to work 4 to 5 hours a day, 5 days a week. However, WWOOFing is a great opportunity to experience a place in a different way, often from a more rural perspective. You are given food and accomodation in exchange for your hard work, and get many opportunities for inter-cultural exchange. Due to the fact that you are staying and working on the land, WWOOF hosts often expect a longer term of stay than couchsurfing- usually a minimum of 4 days.
