Born in Auckland, New Zealand.
Grew up in a small town south east of Auckland, and after leaving school got my thirst for travel when going to Europe and working in England. By best adventures were when I got out of my comfort zone and travelled to mainland Europe. After a comprehensive student experience in Dunedin, I was off to Europe with a new agenda. No more boring times in England, no more relying on Backpackers, no more tradional modes of transport.
I spent the first 3 months staying at friends places, and my first hospitality exchange was in the north of Norway after a hitch hiking, tent sleeping adventure in a land that never got dark. Used Hospitality exchange in Eastern Europe, and returned to New Zealand to repay the favour.
I am always willing to share my experiences and tips, so here goes.
