About Me Page

Couchsurfing is a community that has given me more than I can describe in words. After struggling for a while, looking for ways to contribute I finally made it to the collective in New Zealand. It has been such a rewarding experience to give back to the community that it got me thinking about ways anyone could get involved.

I have spent a lot of my time fundraising for various charities and nonprofit organizations and I thought it might be a good idea to give people an easy way to do this for Couchsurfing. Thus the Fundraising Starter Kit was born. Hopefully it will give anyone who would like to help raise money for Couchsurfing an easy way to get started while at the same time providing a place for us to come together and collectively further the sustainability of this organization we all believe in.
