I'm wondering if the section on "How to Be a Good Guest" is appropriate. As an ex-pat in my late Twenties, I haven't run into this social situation, although I have read about it in guide books, language packets, etc. It strikes me that it is referring to an out of date custom or experience, or perhaps my friends are simply younger and/or more international. Are there any echte Nederlanders who can offer their opinion?
