Bug!

TTT ( [[:cs:people/mattthew|TTT]] ) does not link to a group thread (yet?), but to Mattthew's profile. All in all, love the page! Very helpful! Thank you!--Kaoxoni 12:06, 13 January 2007 (EST)
I fixed it, thanks for pointing this out! ;-) --Phauly 09:35, 14 January 2007 (EST)

Users?

I agree that /something/username would be better than just /username - but I don't like the word "users".. it's a bit impersonal, has connotations of druggies or freeloaders. I'd prefer to see something like "/members/" or "/people/". --CalumTalkCS 21:48, 14 December 2006 (EST)

Ok. We'll have all three! And make /people/ the prefered. In revision 577 :) GuakaTalkCS 22:21, 14 December 2006 (EST)

Users?

While adding stuff to the amb-list I noticed that usermembernames with blank or special characters like "*" (Asterisk) don't work. Examples:

midschCS 18:29, 18 December 2006 (EST)

The space should work now, but I don't think special characters should be working, or be allowed. It's really hard to create nice URLs for them. So we should go through the database and replace those names. GuakaTalkCS 18:44, 18 December 2006 (EST)
The link above to Aparna's profil still doesn't work. (I understand the problem with special charakters, but someone has to tell ANU* ...) midschCS 15:11, 21 December 2006 (EST)
I added a replace for _ and I want to write some code that asks people with crazy characters in their membername to change it into something decent. Anyone is free to keep their membername, but their links will look like the current ?id=REIC423 stuff. Normal membernames will be linked to in cool ways like /people/midsch  :) GuakaCS 18:41, 21 December 2006 (EST)
