RE: Expressing your views despite being unpopular: One of my best friends in the US was opposed to the US invasions of Afghanistan and Iraq from the outset. She freely expressed her views to friends, family, neighbours, workmates, etc despite her views being contrary to prevailing public opinion at the time. She worked hard at explaining to people why the invasions were wrong and caused many to change their thoughts. It came at some cost to her because it was viewed as being un-patriotic - but she did it anyway. If you know something to be wrong don't be frightened to speak out. Luna1
