The link to wikibooks http://en.wikibooks.org/wiki/Hindi_lessons has a lesson and created there. Now if someone is not experienced enough to contribute to the lesson and just wants to direct people to great links on the web what do they do ? please advise.

On http://en.wikibooks.org/wiki/Hindi there is a place for Useful External resources :)

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Indian_television_stations gives a write up on all the stations on different pages and then a link to the origianal website at the end of the contribute article. A page specifially for the groups where they just need a link to the original home page of the station.A ready reference.

I would like to create a page/page directed specifically to the group queries where the poster need to be directed to the website with the best infomation in regards to his query. What is the best way to do this?I was planning to create multiple link pages(for eg hindi lesson links on the net,ngo links) to the main couchsurfing india page. What do you think?--Navinkurian2002 01:23, 20 August 2006 (EST)

I think the CouchSurfing Guide should be useful Guide for CouchSurfers. I don't exactly know what that will comprise, right now. We'll have to find that out. I just know that some things are more at their place at other sites (that already have an active community).
Some things that I would like to see for the India page is information about how the hosting culture compares to the hosting culture in Europe, for instance. I guess, but I don't really know (I have travelled in India in 2001, pre-CS), that a CouchSurfer is often hosted by somewhat richer families. More specifically differences between regions in India, where is it easy to find a couch, where is it hard? Are there any things a single woman should take care of, or expect? Can she prepare herself in some way that will facilitate her stay?
Someone who is interested in Indian television or NGOs in India will probably be able to find a lot of information using Google. On the other hand, if there are Indian CouchSurfers who have good contacts with, or are even working for NGOs, that would be extremely useful information for a CouchSurfer who is interested in contributing to the Indian society.
