"Free Software is also an example of Sustainable Development, allowing environmental awareness and ensuring social and economic justice."

This is the theme of my presentations and work. It might go to deep into matter for this article. If you feel the same we might want to take it out.

I think it would be great to go deep! Let's show what it's about! But at the same time there should also mention huge corporations who use and invest in free software.
I'd say we make it into an article for CS Magazine! :D GuakaTalkCS 17:40, 26 November 2006 (EST)

Free software is not only about Open-minded people with a passion for computer, but it makes sense also for big companies (Sun, Novell, IBM, ...). I think we should mention it (maybe only in a longer article). I agree that on CS it might make more sense to stress the "open minded", "sharing", "passionate about your work" aspects but it makes sense to let people know that freedom is better for anyone, also for companies.
See The Emerging Economic Paradigm of Open Source "Open Source can be explained entirely within the context of conventional open-market economics. Indeed, it turns out that it has much stronger ties to the phenomenon of capitalism than you may have appreciated".
