I just got this mail and had some questions on my mind. As I couldn't find Emmanuel/exlemor here on the wiki (and no userpage to leave this message), I have to post it here with the full context. Thanks for the initiative to stimulate wiki growth first of all! However, I did wonder a) what 'wrongful' editing means (as in my opinion every input is valuable on a wiki and 99% are with good intent - see below) and b) if there is some authoritative power meant by '4. WIKI CORE TEAM REVIEWS CONTENT (& OTHER ISSUES) AND THEIR DECISION IS FINAL'? I would appreciate when on the wiki would be striven for transparent rules and consensus. The work of the core team would then rather be to seek, work actively and facilitate towards a balanced view and invite other people (with different cultural backgrounds) to contribute to the pages. I think only this way can out of a wiki a powerful source grow, especially around such diverse and multicultural issues... PS: I love this talk of Jimmy Wale and Vision: Wikipedia and the Future of Free Culture on Seminars About Long Term Thinking. I would appreciate when we could bring some of those great ideas into our CS Wiki here! --Alex 11:03, 16 March 2009 (UTC)
