I'm so glad someone posted this on the wiki. the most exciting idea i've heard since couchsurfing. A speculative feature list could go on for miles but if we were to ask ourselves where to start instead I would say some kind of way for people to find each other based on stuff they want to learn. An extension of the database system in other words. the trick is to codify what is now just a text box labeled CouchSurfing University. Users could simply add a course to their profile with category, title, and description. they could add as many as they need and users would search using the couchsearch in a search by course feature only showing users with courses. --Metal.lunchbox 09:54, 6 October 2006 (EST)

I cut up this page, cleaned up the phoenix page and just linked to it instead of having all of it pretty much quoted on here. That seemed prudent but I can always move it back if there is a disagreement about this. --Metal.lunchbox 15:29, 9 November 2006 (EST)
