Getting to Szeged
By train
Szeged is very well connected to Budapest. Trains depart and arrive every hour, one ride takes 2 hours 20 minutes between Szeged and Budapest. All these trains stop at Ferihegy Airport Terminal 1, too.
By bus
Tisza Volán and Volánbusz provides direct service between Budapest and Szeged 6 to 8 times each day. It takes somewhat more than 3 hours to get to Szeged from Budapest. All service departs from Budapest Nepliget bus terminal.
By car
You may get to Szeged on the highway M5, the distance is 170 km. When driving your own car remember to pay the highway toll in advance.
