Site improvement
From the CouchSurfing Wiki, an informal workspace which anyone can edit.
An overview of ideas for improving the CouchSurfing website. Please post here your future features and functions so that other members can finetune it. It is always possible to track the whole history of a page so nothing gets lost. Please check out the example and also try to edit that. If you want to discuss it please click on the discussion tab and discuss it there if needed.
This page should be kept up to date, updated with with stuff posted in (at least) these groups where new ideas are being discussed:
How stuff from idea stage to being developed and realized
- Request for enhancement, in the Wiki, includes list of supporters (i.e. linking to Group threads), and clear description or vision
- Tech people make breakdown into technical features
- Tech people add individual features Requests to the Bug Tracker
CouchSurfing Functional Specifications
- An ever growing document, a goal to work towards: Functional Spec
Through some process we may want to add tags to the Bug Tracker to see which features we want for which versions.
Fix and Finish First Things First!
As new generations of volunteers come and go, developers should not forget about finishing former improvement projects that got to a certain point but are still beta or on hold because of bugs
- Please Repair the translation software so 500 volunteers can get back to work
