North Idaho, also known as the Idaho panhandle, is a paradise of lakes and forest studded with small, friendly communities. The area includes a theme park, miles of bike trails, ski resorts, and a state park laced with hiking trails.

Places

Coeur d'Alene: A small resort city on large Lake Coeur d'Alene. Here you can parasail, take a cruise, get out on a sailboat, rent a kayak, sit on a sandy beach, or shop the eclectic downtown area.

Sandpoint: North of Coeur d'Alene, a little town with a lot of art.
