Ancient capital of Brittany, now capital of the "Pays de la Loire",
Nantes is located at the center of an agglomeration of almost 580.000
people (280.000 in the center, 6th bigger city in France) who constitutes
with Saint-Nazaire, the metropolis of the great West of France.
There are lots of reasons to love living here, or just visiting : historical, economic, cultural, sporting, ... Nantes is nearby the atlantic ocean (50km, 30 min by car, 50 min by train...), and it's easy to enjoy all pleasures the sea can give us each time the sun shine

Couchsurfers
CS population is not very developped here : almost 220 couchsurfers, but a minority is active. Something like 50 couchsurfers really have about a complete profile and was connected since last month. It's necessary to develop that, and we work on it !
Meetings
There are no regular meetings here, but sometimes a couchsurfer decides to shake up people, creating a meeting or simply sending a post to the group... Help yourself !!!

We frequently meet at the pub Buck Mulligans. Always in a good mood, lots of evenings, funny quizz, free entrance... Nantes is the home of the CS gaming experiment. Almost every month there's a boardgame evening at Cyril's
