We have an http proxy server set up to help conserve bandwidth. It is running on 192.168.1.23 on port 3128. Below are instructions for configuring your browser.
If you're using gmail you might want to exclude mail.google.com to add to "No proxy for:".
Firefox 2.0 on Windows
Tools -> Options - Advanced Icon -> Network tab -> Connection settings (and then it looks like FF on the Mac)
Firefox on Mac
Enter in the IP and port for http only.
