  • East Melbourne, (Tram 48, 75, 109) surrounded by Richmond, Collingwood, Fitzroy, & the CBD, adjacent to the iconic MCG (Melbourne Cricket Ground) home of Australian Rules Football and cricket (tours available), also home to the Fitzroy Gardens, Captain Cooks (an English explorer credited by some with "founding" Australia) cottage, tea rooms and a lovely conservatory full of all sorts of flowers. Very popular for weddings on weekends, designed in the shape of the Union Jack.
