Livorno (archaic English: Leghorn) is a port city on the Tyrrhenian Sea, on the western edge of Toscana (Tuscany), Italy. It is the capital of the Province of Livorno and the third-largest port on the western coast of Italy, having a population of 155.986.

Getting there & around
getting there TRAIN: trains run frequently to/from Firenze and Pisa;less frequently,and take longer,to/from Roma,Milano,Genova,Torino. as afar as i know,there shouldn't be international trains coming here.
HITCHHIKING:from north-from south-from east
PLANE: Pisa airport is a 30 minutes drive from Livorno;there are no direct trains,so you should change in Pisa. There is a bus connecting Pisa airport to Livorno: (link)
CAR:easyest,shortest way is SGC FI-PI-LI, starting in Firenze and ending in Livorno. pretty chaotic on sundays in summer. there are mantainance works going on now,so it takes a bit more. otherwise(fi mare o a1)
