Groups

This Page is to explain a small bit about how the groups work and how you can join them, leave them and change your email preferences in them.

Finding The Groups That You Want

Firstly joining your local group is most important so that you can find out what the CSers in your area are up to. To find it go click on the grey tab at the top of the CS page titled "Groups.".
Then either choose the "browse groups" button or the "Search" button.
If you click browse then follow the "Places" link to your region->country->province->city. All of the place groups should be arranged in this way. You can join a group at every level right down to your city group.
If you clicked search then type in your city into the box and click the begin search button. If a group is in your town then it should appear for you.
If you notice a mistake in any of the areas then please send a link of the goup and a link of the group it should be under to the contact us questions.

To leave a group you can only do it one group at a time.
You need to click on the group that you wish to leave and go to its main group page. Start on the Groups page and go from there.
Scroll down on the group page and somewhere near the bottom you will see a bunch of grey buttons.
One of the buttons will be entitled "My Group Settings".
Clicking on that button will reveal a page that contains preferences for that group including "Why you joined the Group", Your group email preferences and finally the "leave" group button. That is the one that you require to leave a group.
You will need to leave each group individually.
