Ambassadors Meeting Reports

Look here for reports from the meetings with the City and Country Ambassadors in Germany.

SECURITY - This part is under construction

An emergency e-mail address has been created: 911.cs.germany@gmail.com. All messages sent to this box will be transfered to the German ambs to inform them of CSers having trouble in Germany. An auto-reply will be sent back to all messages received to inform the CSers in trouble about how to reach the Ambassadors in the various CS cities as well as how to find youth hostels and other accommodations in major cities and nearby alternatives. The ambassador responsible for the management of this e-mail is Roland Wollweber from Ludwigshafen.

What for?

1) For CSers with serious problems (safety, violence, theft, etc...)

2) For CSers who have not heard back from their arranged host after arrival in Germany. The ambassadors cannot guarantee that they'll solve your problem, and there will be no answer to last minute couch requests or problems due to lack of organization. Remember to always have a back up plan and enough money to stay in a hostel if necessary.

  • AMBASSADORS RELATED
    • Country ambassador
    • Group moderators

The moderators of several Germany groups are not even living in Germany. The fact is that we need to be moderators of our groups if we want to better manage our respective cities...

    • Language

German and English are the official languages of ambassadors in their communications

  • THEY SAID...

  • WHAT FOR NEXT MEETING

- Creation of a contact list

- Organization of the Google calendar

- Who will be responsible for the reports???

- Please, ORGANIZATION!!! The wiki is used for reporting what's happening and not for personal ideas... we have to discuss it!!

- Future ambassadors, how do we greet them, who?

- Create guidelines first, in the CS German Amb group

- What should an Amb know? On a global level?

- Limit the amount of emails

- Who could give feedback of the Germany organisation towards the Global Organisation?

- Evaluate meetings

- CS Int. Related-Use the “cultural differences conflicts” as a source of understanding the different cultures by putting things into perspective…

- Integrate German level into Global Level?

- Internal Communication with members: communication for all German members should be done through a CS mailing list and not more then once a month (calendar of events in Germany (concerts, cultural things,...). Send the first mails to everybody and urge them to join the Germany group.
