Being one of the most attractive non touristic places the courtyard of Saint Nicholas Church is the plaec where we come across on the 1st Romanian School from Transilvania. At the origins it was a religious school, it beloged to the church - we can find here a lot of amazing things that probably are unique in the world and represent a great part from our history and it's really a miracle that such amazing things have survived to the comunist regim due to the concern and bright ideea of the priests of Saint Nicholas Church to hide all the valuble-historical artifacts in the towers of the church.
Also in this tinny museum you can be surprised by many things like an entire classroom with furniture dated as 200 years old with the same layout of those days and even manuals from which children were studying. In the 15th century Diaconu Coresi brings to Brasov the 1st Printing Machine - the 1st book printed here was sold for 6pairs of oxes(which back in those times meant an enormous price) for a book that took almost 3years to get printed. You'll be surprised to hear that the place has been burgeled 3 times...
I hope I already convinced you to visit this place - you want regret it and you still have to discover soem things on your own as well about this place.Your tour guide that will show you the museum it's an extraordinary person you'll enjoy! It's one of the best places i'd recommend for visiting.
