Enschede is a city in the east of the Netherlands with approximately 154,000 inhabitants. It boasts a university (Twente University) and a vocational university (Saxion, Dutch only). Furthermore it hosts some annual events like the 'Proef-eet' (September), the Batavierenrace (April) and the Enschede marathon (April).
