Copyrights
From the CouchSurfing Wiki, an informal workspace which anyone can edit.
The law surrounding copyrights are tricky.
When you contribute to this wiki the copyrights of your additions will be passed on to CouchSurfingSM International. This in order to prevent possible law suits related to this.
This implies that you cannot:
- Copy material from other sources, be it
- Sources under normal copyright
- Copylefted sources such as Wikipedia or Wikitravel
It would be nice to have all texts available under a free license such as the Creative Commons ShareAlike Attributon license, in the future. This will be easy, if this is decided upon by CouchSurfing, it is the copyright holder. See also License.
