At the moment I stept in at #22 the cliffs (CSC NZ) I was overwhelmed by the inspirational feeling that came out of the house. Not only have we got a beautiful view, but there also are fascinating people that get you to work: nothing happens unless you do it, so... don't hesitate. The rewards are great: being surrounded by amazing people and helping a great project - how could it get better?

It has been a week here in the collective and we got internet for the first time. I feel pwoerful because I am surrounded by great people that are working hard on whatever they want to work on, but somehwo we are working on the same thing. It is a liberating feeling. Peopla re funny and genuine. I was going to write that the guys are ugly but I was threatened to be deleted from the wiki.

Only 2 weeks I spent at the Montreal Collective, I had a great time, I got to know some of the people that are so actively involved in CouchSurfing and was given amazing opportunities. CS is a do-ocracy: I set up the CouchSurfing Wiki and started programming a little bit. Now, three months later I'm Tech Team Coordinator and given the chance to make CS even more participative and decentralized. 14:52, 5 November 2006 (EST)
