Chaudière-Appalaches is an administrative and touristic region of Quebec located just south of the St-Lawrence river facing Quebec City. The city of Levis makes up the main urban centre within the 'Quebec city Metropolitan Community'. The remainder of the region is mainly rural with some service town stretching along the highway A-20 (to Montreal) and A-73 (to the Maine, United States border).
