What?
CasaNostra is mostly the home of Ina, Julien, Timon, Marc-Liam And a little bit yours too. It is situated in Hamburg, Germany ; in a quiet residential neighbourhood that is surrounded by some of the most exciting places of Hamburg: Sankt Pauli, Schanzenviertel, Fischmarkt and Altona.
Rules
It has three rooms, three inhabitants and three rules.
- The first rule is that there are no rules.
- The second rule is that you MUST do everything we tell you.
- The third rule is that you can't breathe when you're in the house.
- The fourth rule is that we don't follow rules. Not even the first one.
The first is the most important.
Basic philosophy
Everything is shared, food, rooms, beds, fun, unfun, computers (somehow), friends... So it will feel a bit weird if you ask if you can use the toilets. To most questions that start with "Can I..." the answer would be "Yes, be welcome", to some it will be "Yes, as long as you replace it". We appreciate sustainable hospitality.
What do you mean "we share the room"?
None of the rooms is called "Someone's room". Instead we have "The zoo", "The bunker" and "The aquarium". We use them as we see fit. There are beds everywhere ; when we feel tired, we just sleep in one of them.
How is it like?
Timon works during week days, Julien during week-end nighs. Julien and Timon spend a lot of time with a laptop, on their knees, God only knows what they're doing. Marc-Liam is moving in soon so we don't know really what he does.
Usual conversation is about what we've been doing last night (we usually go out together but usually get lost on the way), how bad is the headache in the morning, what kind of file system should be formatted on the new hard-drive, some applied philosophy (where we always disagree [no we don't!]), sexual partners (nope, we don't.. seriously), who's gonna do the next washing up, when is the next guest arriving, who's sleeping where tonight, bitching about the rent, planning the next party, if we should make some tea, who wants to make it... and other subjects.
