  • Silvis - This Palestinian restaurant offers one of the best Al Mazat in town. With an extensive menu and warm atmosphere, this is a place you want to visit Map

Top Sushi

  • Umi Sushi - Believe it or not, this small and simple place a bit outside of town is a fantastic sushi place where you will have a great culinary experience. They do not have a web-page, but you can find them by looking at this map To get there you can take a tram and get off at Vågmästareplatsen, continue walking on the trams direction on the right side of the tracks until you find it, it's a small place so keep your eyes open.

Top Husmans

  • Kåges hörna - In the middle of Saluhallen is the best place to get proper Husmanskost (Swedish standard food). Kåges hörna (corner) is in fact not a corner, but a u-shaped bar in the center of Saluhallen. 50-60 SEK for great Swedish food. About 30 dishes to chose from.

Top Cafés

  • Tabla (World Culture Museum) - This café (and restaurant) is situated inside the inspiring Museum of World Culture with it's breathtaking architecture and it's interesting atmosphere. They are known to have one of the cities best carrot-cakes. You can visit the café without going to the exhibitions so you don't have to pay the museum fee Map
  • Språkcafet (The Language Café) - Order your coffee in any language you want at large, but still cozy café with Spanish interior. Check out the "Language Evenings" were you can meet people that speak a specific language while having a cup of coffee Map
  • Café Husaren - Buy yourself a Haga-bulle (the worlds largest cinnamon-roll) in this traditional café with old-fashion interior. It's in the middle of the busy Haga-nygatan Map
