Add CS wiki search plugin

From the CouchSurfing Wiki, an informal workspace which anyone can edit.

Now you can search the CouchSurfing wiki directly from your Firefox Quick Search bar.

How to Install Plugin for Firefox

1. Download the plugin:
   • Get the plug in, right click (Mac users ctrl-click)
   • Select "Save Link As..." from the context menu that appears.
2. Move the file into Firefox:
   • If you use Windows, move the downloaded file into the folder:
     C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\searchplugins
   • If you use Linux, move the downloaded file to your Firefox userfolder:<b />something like /home/Username/.mozilla/firefox/YourProfile/searchplugins
   • If you have a Mac, move the downloaded file into the folder:
     ~/Library/Application Support/Firefox/Profiles/.../searchplugins
3. Restart Firefox

How to Uninstall Plugin

1. Find the file:
   • If you use Windows, it's in the folder:
     C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\searchplugins
   • If you use Linux, it's something like:
     /home/Username/.mozilla/firefox/YourProfile/searchplugins
   • If you have a Mac, it's in the folder:
     ~/Library/Application
2. Delete the file
3. Restart Firefox

How to Install the Plugin for Other Browsers

This plugin is a standard MozSearch and OpenSearch xml file. You may be able to add it to other browsers such as Internet Explorer 7. If you know how to do this, please edit this page.
