Aalborg is one of the major cities in northern Jutland, a part of Denmark.

Things to see in Aalborg
- Aalborg Zoo, Mølleparkvej 63, 9000 Aalborg, Phone (+45) 96312929
- Viking graves in Lindholm (other side of the fjord, take a bus or bicycle).
- Jomfru Ane Gade (the famous street of bars).
- Aalborg Slot - a castle, that does not look like a caste, and that is also used as an administrative building of the regional council (AMT).
- Have a walk by the fjord.
- Visit the parks.
- Explore the small streets in the center - old town (around the shopping streets, Algade and Bispensgade).
- A number of museums, a good museum of modern arts.

- Camping - pricey, but some people reported they simply did not pay, at least for some of the nights.

Meetings
We used to have regular meetings in the middle of each month, but, in these times, you better take the initiative yourself and post to groups. Sometimes we have dinners, where we cook together at somebody's place, and share the expenses.
For international spirit, visit Student House, Gammel Torv 10, on Wednesday evenings. There are many student parties, especially on weekends. You can find out about them in Student House on Wednesdays, sometimes in the forum of ESN Aalborg.
Living in Aalborg
It is a great place to live for international students. There's a big, fun student's community, university with great facilities and FREE education for European students (Master's degree), activities for students, sports, jobs for students.

- Etc., such as swimming pool, park with beach volley and football field, running club, golf, horse riding, carting, bowling.
Unqualified jobs:
- Substitute (vikar).
- Delivery of newspapers.
- Post delivery (some Danish required).
- Cleaning of gym (Equinox), hotels, dish washing in local restaurants.

How to get around
Bicycle! Available for rent, ask in tourist information, or buy one from Gul&Gratis. There are also some available in the city where you put a bit of money(20DKK if my memory serves me) in the bike to unlock it and you get the money back when you put it back at one of those bikestands.
